The Weekly Block Diwas programmes were held today across Doda district to resolve the people’s issues and ensure quality and prompt disposal of their grievances.The District Administration, under the overall supervision of DDC Vikas Sharma, organised the Block diwas meetings at Village Badgi, Bhalessa, and   Bheela, in Thathri.

The meetings scheduled at Panchayat Bulandpur, Assar and Berreru, Bhaderwah, and   Hambal could not be held due to heavy rains.During the public outreach programme, teams of District and sectoral Officers took first hand appraisal of the public grievances/ issues at both the places.

As many as 18 domicile certificates and 10 revenue papers were issued to the beneficiaries on the spot. Besides, 10 applicants were shown their revenue record on the portal under the "Aap ki Zameen Aapki Nigrani" campaign, while 934 works were taken up  under MGNREGA, District Capex, 14th FC and CSSs.

Moreover 43 applications/grievances were received during the day long program across the district out of which 40 were disposed of on the spot. The remaining grievances were forwarded to the concerned quarters for time bound redressal. The field officers were also directed to follow the time bound disposal of the grievances.
