Every week a new film has seen the light of the day but a very few of them make their place in the hearts of the audience and place at the box office. And if talking about the same, this week that is on 20 May two films starring meritorious artists were released. We are talking about Katrik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Kangana Ranaut’s Dhakad. Now, this week, with the
release of two big-ticket films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Dhaakad, film trade analysts hope that the Hindi film industry will turn the tide.
Box Office Collection - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 vs Dhaakad
In terms of first-day box office, the Anees Bazmee-directed film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to outperform all expectations and earn around 14-15 crore net on day one. Moreover, the team is ahead of Gangubai Kathiawadi which earns 10.50 crore net on an opening day. Even before the pandemic, this would have been a wonderful start for a mid-sized horror-comedy. Dhaakad, starring Kangana Ranaut, Divya Dutta, Arjun Rampal, and Saswata Chatterjee, will be lucky to break even on day one with an Rs1 crore net.
About Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a standalone sequel to the hit 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was led by actors Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan and helmed by Priyadarshan. Now, with Anees Bazmee as the director, it remains to be seen if Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be able to recreate the success of the first part, given that Bollywood franchises with a few exceptions have had a hard time filling up theatres.
About Dhaakad
Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, Saswata Chatterjee, and Sharib Hashmi feature in Dhaakad. The film has been directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai, is produced by Hunar Mukut, and is backed by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai. On May 20, 2022, the film was released in theatres. It was originally scheduled for a Pan-India release in April, but the manufacturers postponed it until May due to the COVID pandemic.
Bollywood's Six Films Flops After The Kashmir Files
So far, six Bollywood films have flopped back to back, but Bollywood is failing to understand how to finally bring the audience to the theatres. The biggest problem is that six big Hindi films released after 'The Kashmir Files' have been flopping continuously. Whereas in the meantime, from South Indian films to Hollywood films, the Hindi version has also earned great record-breaking profits. In such a situation, fans had high hopes for both the Bollywood films Dhaakad' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' released on Friday. But there are no such signs, it seems that the film 'Dhaakad' is going to beat badly, while 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' will be average.
Let’s wait for some more days, to know the public reviews and critic reviews for these films.
