Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba Anuradha Gupta today conducted a public grievances redressal camp under the Public Outreach programme 'Block Diwas' here in the DC Office conference hall.The Public Grievance camp was attended by District Development Council members, Block Development Council Chairperson Ghagwal Vijay Tagotra, Sarpanches and other PRI members of district samba.The DC heard Public Representatives patiently and issued directions to the concerned officers for immediate redressal of the grievances including uninterrupted power supply, availability of drinking water, sanitation drives, Super Express Highway, road Samba to Sumb, land encroachment, roads maintenance and new under various schemes besides other local issues were also discussed.
While issuing directions to the officers, the DC laid emphasis upon taking regular feedback from the public representatives. She asked each department to submit the action taken report to her office regarding the redress of public issues.She warned that the maximum time for addressing the Water and Power supply issued would be two days, beyond which action will be taken against the concerned officers.The DC laid emphasis upon officers to create maximum awareness among the PRIs about schemes and ongoing development works in their respective area.Meanwhile Block divas meetings were also conducted at SDM office Ghagwal, BDO office Vijaypur and BDO office Samba.
