Under the Free Annual Health Checkup Program (FAPHC) a special camp would be organized next week at District Administrative Complex Mansa to check up every person above 30 years of age. These views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jaspreet Singh in a meeting with the officials of the Health Department at the local Bachat Bhawan.Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jaspreet Singh while reviewing the performance and progress of the Health Department asked the people of the district to expedite the vaccination campaign to protect them from the Kovid epidemic in future.
He said that people should be made more aware for the prevention of Dengue, Malaria and Chikungunya. He said that the health department should take more concrete steps to ensure that no one suffers from dengue in the district.Mr. Jaspreet Singh spoke to the officials of Health Department on Maternal and Child Protection Program, RBSK, CM Cancer Relief Fund, National Viral Hepatitis Control Program, NTEP, National Leprosy Eradication Program, National Detailed review of Vector Borne Disease Control Program, National Program for Control of Blindness, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Prime Minister's Safe Maternity Campaign and Maternal Schemes.
He said that as per the directions of the government every eligible and needy person should be provided the benefit of the schemes of the health department.Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ajay Arora, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Upkar Singh, SDM Dr. Manisha Rana, Acting Civil Surgeon Apart from Ranjit Singh Rai, other officials of the health department were also present.
