Deputy Commissioner Navjot Kaur IAS and SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena today reviewed the arrangements for Hind Di Chadar show - dedicated to martyrdom of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji on Nov 20 at Nehru Memorial College Stadium. The show will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm bringing legacy and martyrdom of Guru Sahib alive.

Deputy Commissioner said that under leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has heralded in unmatched initiatives to remind people about the Supreme sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. She appealed all residents of the district to attend this historic light and sound show named Hind Di Chadar along with their families at stadium of Nehru Memorial College.

She added that this heart felt tribute to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji will include 45 minutes show with a prelude of performances by Dhadhi Jatha. She added that the entrance for show shall begin at 5:30 pm on Nov 20. 

No passes are required for attending the show. The event is open for everyone. Deputy Commissioner said that Minister Mr. Harpal Singh Cheema, Minister Mr. Barinder Kumar Goyal shall also be watching the show with public. 

She said that a number of school students, youth clubs, villagers, panchayats, municipal councilors, senior citizens and people from all walks of life will attend the show. SSP stated that for public convenience, adequate facilties for parking, law and order situation and security have been checked today.

During the inspection, ADC Mansa Aakash Bansal, SDM Mansa Kala Ram Kansal, SDM Sardulgarh Dr. Ajitpal Singh, SDM Budhlada Gagandeep Singh and other senior officers of various departments were present.
