In the move of heightening the state revenue ,civic bodies have asked Mohali Builders to submit the property tax for unsolved commercial , residential buildings.Numbers are in plenty of those who have developed many projects commercial as well as residential undergoing at fastest pace in Mohali district covering Kharar, Zirakpur, Derabassi and Lalru divisions and have not submitted the due taxes.
Financial constraints hitted MCs have targeted to secure around 25 Crore through pendency of tax submission by the builders especially in the Zirakpur and Kharar, which could generate attractive amounts to the state.The MC official has advised the property buyers to check the property tax status before buying their favourable.property to ensure their hassle deal.The zirakpur municipal council has also issued a notice in this regard exhibiting that builders will be liable to pay the tax of properties until they sell to the clients.It is a considerable relief going in the favour of the buyers as the state government officials have rolled their sleeves to increase the revenue as it seems.
