The members of Chandigarh-Punjab Union of Journalists (CPUJ) today unanimously elected Darshan Singh Sodhi from Punjabi Tribune as Chief Patron of the body.Kuldeep Singh (Sky Hawk Times) has been elected as chairman while Davinder Singh Chauhan(Editor in chief,5 Dariya News) has been elected as president. Rajiv Jain (Dainik Tribune) and Baljit Marwaha (Aaj Samaj) have been elected as vice Chairman and general secretary the union, respectively. The development has taken place during Annual General Meeting of the union, chaired by National Council Member Darshan Singh Sodhi, at its camp office, Phase 6, here. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sodhi and Chauhan claimed that they would work for welfare of the members of the union and would make it number one union in state. “We are hopeful of getting the land for from state government soon”, said Sodhi.
