Narayan Seva Sansthan is an NGO that has been working towards the upliftment of the differently-abled and the ones in need. The NGO has been working towards the  upliftment of the needy and the underprivileged along with the differently-abled by empowering them through skill development training and by offering them free of cost  surgeries that have helped them to be a part of the mainstream society. These surgeries have been conducted on patients belonging to countries from India, Afghanistan,  Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ukraine, the UK, and the USA. These patients were operated on free of cost through corrective surgeries at the NSS campus in Udaipur, Rajasthan.  The NGO recently in the past two months from January 2022 till date has conducted 23 camps in 23 cities where they registered a total number of 6781patients during these  ongoing camps.

Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “NSS has been working relentlessly for uplifting the lives of the differently-abled. Through these camps across two  months, we have been able to take Artificial Hand & Limb Measurement for 2836 patients and around 749 patients have been selected for surgery. We will also be giving away  921 Callipers to patients. COVID-19 has brought in a tremendous setback in the lives of those who are economically not strong and we only intend to offer them support with a  helping hand by conducting free of cost surgeries for these families. As in the past, we have conducted corrective surgeries for differently-abled individuals across India and in  7 countries across the globe.

Going forward we are planning to maximise our efforts and ensure that there is a 15% yearly increase in corrective surgeries and 25% yearly growth in artificial limb  distribution. Our plan is to conduct 1,40,400 surgeries in the next 5 years. We are also looking forward to major international expansion in the next five years and to establish  our presence in more than 26 countries by 2026.”Since 1997, Narayan Seva Sansthan operated around 427350 surgeries for the rehabilitation of differently-abled people.  Narayan Seva Sansthan since 2017 has conducted 61026 corrective surgeries till 2021, for people with birth disabilities. The year on year data of surgeries conducted by NSS  since 2017 is 19127 surgeries, in 2018 it conducted 17425 surgeries, in 2019 it conducted 16734 surgeries, in 2020 it was 5174 surgeries and in 2021 it was about 2566  surgeries.
