Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that Haryana should be number one in the country in health sector and our aim is that 'not a single Haryanavi should have to go out for treatment and for this create such a health infrastructure in Haryana.Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij was interacting with various health personalities and stakeholders in the pre-budget consultation virtual meeting today. Apart from Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, Dr. Randeep Guleria, Dr. SN Reddy, Dr. Anita Saxena, Dr. VK Paul, Dr. Punita, Dr. Divya Saxena, Navneet Bali, Dr. Harprakash, Dr. Rajni, Dr. RK Aneja and others participated in this virtual meeting.Sh. Vij said that our budget session is starting from March 2 and everyone's good suggestions will be incorporated in the budget so that we can become number one in health services.
He said that this VC would be recorded in the history of Haryana in which suggestions for improving the health infrastructure. Health Minister said that it is a priority for any welfare government to do three things, every person should get health services, every person should get good education and we should create strong infrastructure. These three things will be priority for the welfare government, he added.Appreciating the Chief Minister, the Health Minister said that for the first time in the history of Haryana, such a meeting has been held before the presentation of the budget, in which a new process has been started to discuss with all the stakeholders. He said that when more people join it, good ideas will come out. In this episode, our aim is that we can reach health services to every person, in that we will be successful soon.
Health budget reached 6500 crores - Anil Vij
The Health Minister said that ever since the BJP government came to power in the state, we have been making continuous efforts to improve health services. When the BJP government came, the health budget was only 1500 crores, which has crossed 6500 crores now. The Health Minister said that today cathlabs are running in four districts and cath labs are being set up in the rest of the districts. He said that today there is a system of dialysis in all the districts except one or two districts. The hospitals have MRI, ultrasound, CT scan and other better facilities. ICUs have been set up in every district and today there are ventilators and ambulances with ventilators also, he said.He said that the State Government has continuously improved the health sector. The Health Minister said that we want to open medical colleges in every district, 4 medical colleges were opened earlier and construction work is going on for 3 medical colleges while permission has been given for 3 more colleges.
Focus will be on research in PGIMS, Rohtak - Vij
The Health Minister said that our PGIMS, Rohtak is a research institute and for the first time there will be a provision for research in the budget. This is a very big institute, we have the ability, we have the resources, but we never paid attention to research. He said that soon we will get the mapping done to provide medical services as per the requirement so that PHC, CHC, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic etc. can be promoted as per the requirement and the number of beds can also be increased as per the requirement.
More than 350 Hospitals NABH Accredited - Vij
Health Minister said that it has been made mandatory for the empaneled hospitals to be NABH to provide quality health services to the people of the state. Similarly, National Quality Assurance Standard is being given to government hospitals which is at par with NABH and 80 hospitals of the state have been accrediated as National Quality Assurance Standard.
