Despite the rainy weather, Sanyukt Samaj Morcha SSM candidate from Mohali Assembly Constituency Ravneet Brar on Thursday campaigned in Mohali city and adjoining villages.Speaking during the election campaign in villages Motemajra, Tangori, Kurda, Kurdi, Sekhon Majra etc., Brar said that Punjab has witnessed misrule of Congress and Akali Dal in the last 15 years.  During the reign of the Akalis, the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib, drug abuse, hooliganism, mafia rule flourished, whereas during the Congress rule, the Congresspeople instead of stopping them, partnered with them.Brar further said that they have been holding election campaign meetings and door-to-door campaigns in various villages of the constituency for the past several weeks.

Under this, direct contact is being established with the residents of the area.  He claimed that he is getting full support from the educated class in Mohali city and a large number of farming communities in the villages.Taking a dig at the Aam Aadmi Party, Brar said that the candidate fielded by the Aam Aadmi Party from the Mohali constituency lacks the spirit of public service.  Although he is dreaming of becoming an MLA on the basis of money.  But the people of Mohali are very intelligent and will not listen to his words.Brar said that SSM has entered politics with a different mindset from traditional parties.  We believe in taking every section of the society together. However, it is pertinent to mention here that Sanyukt Samaj Morcha seems to be getting huge support across Punjab and like other constituencies in the Mohali constituency, Ravneet Brar also claims that this time the voters of Punjab will come out from traditional parties and decide their future.
