In connection with celebrations of Good Governance week and as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the District Administration Anantnag in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports Anantnag today organised a cycle Race from Sarnal Dhadat Chowk to Sports Stadium Tikbagh Mattan, Anantnag.A total of 50 cyclists participated in the race with enthusiasm and great sportsmanship. The cycle race was flagged-off by District Youth Services and Sports Officer Mushtaq Ahmad Pampori along with Zonal Physical Education Officer Mattan, Ghulam Nabi Pala from Sarnal Dhadat.The department had made appropriate arrangements all along the track by deploying Technical officials including at starting and at finishing point for the smooth and successful completion of events. The Department of Youth Services had deputed BLS expert, departmental officials for any medical emergency. The Activity section of the DYSS Office Ananatnag had made all arrangements including allotment and distribution of chest Number and all other necessary arrangements.
