To provide all kinds of basic facilities to the furthest place of the State is the formost periorityof the present Government of the State. This was stated by the Minister of State for Science & Technology/Information Technology (Independent Charge), Minister of State for School Education, Medical Education & Youth Services & Sports, Feroz Ahmad Khan while interacting with a gathering at different places in Zanskar valley during his first visit to his constituency after becoming State Minister.
He thanked the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for inducting for the first time the MLA from place like Zanskar in the State Council of Minister.During the visit people from the villages like Phey, AKshow, Abran etc briefed the minister about their problems, and demands. The minister directed the concerned officers to redress the issues on priority basis and announced Rs 4 lakh for constructing Community hall at Himling and Phey.The minister also inaugurated the 65 Kilowatt solar power plant at Skiyagaam which was constructed at a cost of Rs 2 Crore and this power plant will help in lighting the hamlets of Shiyamgaam and Bakarchey.The minister was accompanied by team district officers.
