Punjab Youth Development Board (PYDB) Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra today distributed sports kits to the students of Arya College, here today. Bindra was the chief guest on the occasion, where he also interacted with the students.Principal Dr Savita Uppal was also present on the occasion.While speaking on the occasion, Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra said the state government, under the able leadership of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Sports & Youth Welfare Minister Pargat Singh, was making all out efforts to promote sports amongst the Punjabi youth. He said that this was need of the hour to engage the youth in the sports which could help them to excel in their lives and asked them to become ambassadors of their respective areas. He said that Punjab Youth Development Board is fully committed for the betterment and development of the Youth of the State.He said the state government was leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Punjab emerges as a front runner state in the arena of sports under its Tandarust Punjab Mission.
