Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Wednesday inaugurated the third Job Mela at SRS Government Polytechnic College for Girls, being organized by the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprise (DBEE).Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-CEO DBEE Amit Kumar Panchal and Deputy CEO Navdeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma interacted with the youths and employers during Job Mela.He said that it is a win-win situation for both the job applicants and employers. He said that under this unique initiative of Ghar-Ghar Rozgar, the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has been providing a common platform to job seekers and job givers.

Sharma said that job seekers can get the job of their choice and job givers can choose the candidates as per their requirements and capabilities.He called it a historic day for the youth as they are going to start a new inning in their lives by joining job. He told that it is just the beginning of the marvellous success story which all of them are going to script in the future.Deputy Commissioner said that these job melas are proving huge successful in fulfilling the promise of the Punjab Government by ensuring job to unemployed youth under the Ghar-Ghar Rozgar.Exhorting the students to avail maximum benefits of the job fairs, the Deputy Commissioner said that the fourth mega job Mela would be organized at CICU Focal Point on September 17.He said that the interested youth can apply for the jobs by registering themselves with the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprise at its office near Partap Chowk or logging in to www.pgrkam.com.
