To spread the awareness about the malnutrition and its hazardous effects on the health of all, Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) today held an awareness event at Anganwari Centre, Bandrena as part of activities of Matru Vandana Saptah and  Poshan Maah 2021. District Programme officer, Kishori Lal Sharma was the chief Guest at the awareness event which was also attended by CDPO, Iffat Ara; Health Mobilizer Mohsin Nisar Doolwal; Member Ward No.5 Bandrena   Surekha Sen; Supervisor Afroza Begum; AWW Shakeela Begum; dealing assistant PMMVY besides field functionaries, AWWs, AWHs.On the occasion, the DPO briefed the field functionaries about the benefits of the flagship programme PMMVY. He urged AWWs and Supervisors to spread awareness among pregnant women, girl child, adults by following the theme. He also emphasised on the uploading of daily activities carried during the entire week on dashboard.CDPO, Health Mobilizer and local AWW also addressed the participants and educated them about the aims and objectives of PMMVY and Poshan Maah celebration 2021.
