Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma has called upon the society to take a vow on this auspicious festival of Rakhi to empower the daughters to move forward in life and their real empowerment. He was releasing a poster of renowned film director and actor Deep Jagdeep's short film "Bojh" at his residence here today. Dr Bishav Mohan, renowned Cardiologist, Mr Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal, District Public Relations Officer, Moga and others were also present on the occasion.While congratulating the entire team on the occasion, Mr Sharma said that there was a need of the hour to provide opportunities to the girls to move forward. He said that the administration has taken many steps in this direction following the instructions of the government but it would not have been possible without the active cooperation of the people. He also appealed to the other concerns to work in this direction.Actor Deep Jagdeep said that the film is being released on the occasion of the Rakhi festival. Producer Sukhjit Kambo, Nimrata Kamboj, Preet, Jas Grange, Balwinder Kaur, Mansirat Kaur Bani, Renu Mehra, Gurpreet Singh, Deepan Baweja, Palwinder Singh, Vishal, Raj Verma, Krish Sharma and others have contributed to the production of the film.
