Asserting that the Rajiv Gandhi infused dynamism and youthful energy into India's ambitions to be a superpower, NSUI Ludhiana President Avtish Kumar on Friday said former Prime Minister left an indelible mark on the nation by heralding Telecom revolution.The youngest Prime Minister, he was instrumental in unleashing landmark Panchayati Raj reforms too empowering the rural India, Avtish Kumar pointed out adding that his pragmatic and scientific vision is the foundation to make our country more resilient and powerful.Paying glowing tributes to the Congress leader on the 77th Birth Anniversary, Avtish said Rajiv Gandhi liberated the social, economical and educational sectors by heralding computerisation and digitalisation. 

To mark the occasion, NSUI Ludhiana had organised blood donation camps across the city during which 105 units of blood was donated.Youth of our country holds the key to a gainful future and today there is an urgent need to make them aware about the ill-effects of drug menace, he said adding the NSUI Punjab under state president Akshay Sharma has been launching campaigns to address this issue.If we want to make India stronger in the real sense, we need to follow Rajiv Gandhi's mission to make India a modern inclusive society where rights of each community are equal and complete. His philosophy of holistic development being the only way to make India competetive is more relevant today than ever, Avtish underscored.
