Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer today inaugurated a Blood Donation camp organised by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, here at Shastri Nagar Jammu to mark the celebration of World Blood Donors Day 2021.On the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner interacted with Doctors, Paramedical staff and volunteers/ Donors and appreciated their efforts, contribution. The Div Com also appreciated Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation for welfare activities being organised by the OrganisationHe also commended the Red Cross Society for playing an important role in rendering humanitarian services to the people in distress. He advocated for continuing such activities in every district of Jammu division in order to supplement the efforts of the department of health. During the camp, more than fifty donors donated blood which would be kept available at Government Medical College Jammu.The Camp was organised by following all Covid related SOPs.Among others Secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu, Vinod Malhotra; HOD, Blood Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Dr. Meena Sidhu; besides President of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Jammu, S. Ajit Singh were present on the occasion.
