ADC Doda flags off 25 farmers for exposure visit to outside UT

A group of 25 farmers were today flagged off here for 4-day Training cum exposure visit to outside the UT under Sub Mission on Agriculture Extension (SMAE) (ATMA).The tour was flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kishori Lal Sharma.Among others present at the program were Chief Agriculture Officer, Mukesh Khajuria; District Agriculture Officer (Extn), Dr Rakesh Khajuria; SDAO Pranoo, Kuldeep Bassan and other Officers and officials of Agriculture Department.The farmers drawn from across the District will visit to Agriculture University Palampur (Himachal Pardesh) to experience the technical know-how as well as practical exposure of the Agriculture innovation being practiced by the farmers of Himachal Pardesh.The ADC said that the exposure visit will definitely boost the knowledge & practical exposure of participants regarding the advanced Agriculture practices adopted by their counterparts in Himachal Pardesh & after returning from the tour, they will replicate the same in their farms. .
