District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode today reviewed the progress on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road projects, here at meeting held in his office Chamber.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning (CPO), Parshotam Kumar; SE PMGSY Batote, RK Gupta, Executive Engineer PMGSY Doda and Thathri, AEEs and other staff.The District Development Commissioner Doda expressed satisfaction over completion of works in time and achievement of targets in the District during last season/ financial year.The meeting was informed that more than 380 KM roads have been blacktopped, 470 KM metalled, Over 570 KM shingled and about 700 KM constructed up to fair weather status till date.The DDC directed the officers to strictly adhere to the specifications and complete the ongoing roads within stipulated time frame.While taking a detailed review of the scheme wise progress and completion of projects, the DDC asked the PMGSY authorities to coordinate with concerned authorities and settle all the pending land acquisition cases, forest clearances for early completion of PMGSY roads.
