District Skill Development Committee, in collaboration with DE&CC Doda, is going to organise one day Job Fair (Rozgar Mela) here on March 4.In this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma chaired a meeting to finalise the date, venue and other important modalities for conduct of the Job fair under SANKALP.It was informed that the fair shall be held at Community Hall Doda on March 4, 2021.Different companies, firms and employers have been invited from within and outside Jammu and Kashmir to conduct interview of eligible youth on the spot for their selection. The appointment letters shall be issued to the selected candidates on the same day.Besides, stalls of all the departments dealing with employment generation directly or indirectly shall be set up for awareness and registration of beneficiaries.Special loan mela for unemployed youth who want to set up their self employment units shall also be part of the rozgar mela.Details of the employers/ firms, nature of manpower required to them and the specifications/ qualification needed shall be communicated well in advance through print, electronic and social media so that maximum number of unemployed youth of District Doda could get benefited.
