Drive-through testing is easy, hassle free, fright free testing facility started by Mohali Administration, said Sukhjinder Bindra, Chairman Punjab Youth Development Board after getting his COVID test done during the inauguration of the facility. He said that maximum people should avail benefit from this centre and come forward for testing to make Mission Fateh a success.With the addition of three Special Open Air Testing Centres and a Drive-through testing facility, Mohali District Administration has augmented the testing centres in the district to facilitate maximum public footfall, informed Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.“Aggressive COVID 19 sampling mandates ample testing facilities. So, we have increased the testing centres. To allay the public fear of going to hospitals, the new testing centres have been set up in open air, in grounds/maidans and stadia,” said Dayalan. One open air testing centre has been set up in each sub-division namely  Shaheed Major Harminderpal Singh Government College Phase 6, Mohali, Ram Bhawan , Dussehra Ground Kharar and Government Senior Secondary School Lohgarh. Now the total tally of COVID19 government testing centres in the district is 13 and which are being complemented by 16 Private Testing Centres and 6 authorized labs, he informed.

In fact, a Drive-through testing facility has also been set up in sector 78 GAMADA sports Complex, Mohali, where in a person may arrive at the testing location in his vehicle. He can get quick registration at a counter near the entry gate and drive to the sampling counter to give the nose or throat swab without disembarking from the vehicle. The entire exercise takes about five minutes and the test result is conveyed through a message on phone.Pertinently, the government testing centres where in the test is done free of cost are located at District Hospital Mohali , Primary Health Centre Gharuan, Sub Divisional Hospital Derabasi , Community Health Centre Kurali , Sub Divisional Hospital Kharar, Primary Health Centre Lalru, Primary Health Centre Dhakoli , Primary Health Centre Boothgarh, Primary Health Centre Banur , Sports Complex Gamada, Sector 78 Mohali , Shaheed Major Harminderpal Singh Gpvernment College Phase 6, Sas Nagar , Ram Bhawan  Dusehera Groudnd, Kharar and Government Senior Secondary School Lohgarh. Private Testing Centres where Rapid Antigen Test @700, and RT-PCR@2400  are Nobel Diagnostic Centre ,Indus International, Derabassi , Mehar Hospital, Sbl Pathology And Allergy Center, Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Ace Heart Hospital, Chandigah Diagnostic Lab, Amar Hospital ,Indus Hospital, Indus Hospat 3 B 2, Sohana Hospital, Ivy Creation Hospital, Ivy Hospital, Shalby Hospital and Mayo Hospital.The Labs in the district which conduct Rapid Antigen Test @700, and RT-PCR@2400  are Srl Lab, Metro Police Lab,  Lal Path Lab, Onquest Lab, Polo Lab And  Atualya Lab.
