2nd Phase of B2V3 takes with added zeal across 61 panchayats of Reasi district

The first day of the second segment  of the "Back to Village - phase-III" commenced with added zeal and vigour across 61 panchayats of Reasi district.As a part of the program, several activities were carried out on the day which witnessed huge public participation like the first phase of the program.The designated officers visited to the assigned Panchayats and organised Gram Sabhas in which a large number of people including PRI members, senior citizens, women, retired Government employees and youth took part. They apprised the visiting officers about the issues and demands of their areas including augmentation of water and power supply, improvement in road conditions, paucity of staff in health and educational institutions etc.The visiting officer noted down all the issues projected at the public meetings and assured people that all their genuine issues shall be redressed in a phased manner with the intervention of the concerned authorities.They also held one to one interactions with the field functionaries of different departments and the PRI members and asked them to play a proactive role in providing all the basic necessities to the common masses besides ensuring their convenience in their daily life. They advised the PRI members to act as a bridge between the administration and public and formulate the plans as per the developmental needs of the areas of their respective jurisdiction.The visiting officers also inspected the developmental works being executed by different departments in the rural areas and the facilities being provided to rural masses in PHCs, Anganwadi centres and other Government institutions.
