A series of Jan Abhiyan activities were today held here across the Chrilla Block by the Rural Development Department functionaries.The three week public campaign being conducted across Jammu and Kashmir from September 10 as a prelude to the Back to Village Phase III, is aimed at reaching out to the rural areas and listening to the issues of the people, providing them certain services at their doorsteps and assessing the development requirements.In this regard, Block Development Officer Chirala, Phulail Singh Bandral conducted an extensive tour of the Block and conducted public hearings.During the public hearing several deputations and individuals projected their grievances the redress of which was assured by the BDO in a prompt manner.Later, the BDO inspected the ongoing works in various Panchayats. He directed the field staff to expedite the progress and push the wage payments under the stipulated time frame fixed under T+ 8 module.
