Mission Fateh : SPS Hospital Ludhiana Adds 50-Beds In Its Covid Care Centre

Due to the persistent efforts of District Administration, SPS Hospital, Sherpur Chowk, Ludhiana has added 50 more beds to its existing Covid Care Centre. Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma, Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal and ADC (Development)-cum-Nodal Officer Covid Mr Sandeep Kumar today visited the hospital premises and thanked the hospital management for adding 50 more beds to its existing Covid Care Centre.While speaking on the occasion, Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma said that several private hospitals have started Covid treatment now and that there is no shortage of beds in the district. He said that for the welfare of patients, more number of Level-2 and Level-3 beds are being added to the existing beds strength in the district.Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma assured the residents that there is no shortage of beds for Covid treatment in district Ludhiana. He said that people should not panic and check the status of vacant beds through official web links “https://ludhiana.nic.in/notice/covid-19-bed-status-in-ludhiana-district/" or “www.hbmspunjab.in". He said that data of all private hospitals providing Covid treatment has been added on the web links. Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal urged managements of other private hospitals to also come forward and set up Covid care centres in their premises so that they can make real service towards the society during today’s testing times.
