Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma today interacted with the Ludhiana residents through a Facebook live session through the official page of District Public Relations Office Ludhiana. During the session, he informed that in a good news, the four senior district administration officials have been fully cured of Covid 19 and would resume their duties soon.During the Facebook live session, Mr Varinder Sharma informed that ADC (General) Mr Amarjit Bains, ADC (Jagraon) Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta, SDMs Mr Sandeep Singh Garha and Mr Mankanwal Singh Chahal have been fully cured and would be resuming duties shortly.In a bid to connect directly with the Ludhiana residents for their queries related to COVID 19 and to educate the masses, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Sharma held #AskDistrictAdministration interactive Facebook live session today. During this session, the Deputy Commissioner answered several queries of the residents and also urged them to follow government directions.

During the live session, the Deputy Commissioner answered several questions posted by the residents regarding Covid 19. He urged them to follow all directions of the Punjab government strictly if they want to keep everyone around them safe. He said that people should wear masks, maintain physical distancing and maintain hand hygiene at every cost.He urged the residents not to believe in any rumours on social media and said that rather than believing in social media posts, they should follow the official Facebook page and Twitter handle of District Public Relations Office Ludhiana for authentic updates. He clarified that the Sunday lockdown would continue till further orders. He said that the Punjab government has not issued any orders regarding finishing Sunday lockdown and so it would continue till further orders from the state government.He said that the #AskDistrictAdministration Facebook session would be held at 7 pm on every Wednesday and urged the residents to submit their questions on the official Facebook page and Twitter handle of District Public Relations Office Ludhiana.
