"The greatest service that anyone can do in the present scenario is to come forward in rendering whatever help is necessary whatever it is providing food or medical help." These views were expressed today by the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Balbir Singh Sidhu.The Health Minister was today handed over 100 packets of 100 family doses each of immuno booster homeopathic medicine Arsenium Album 30 by the National Advisor Indian Institute of Homeopathic Physicians (IIHP), Dr. B. S. Chandok for distribution among the members of the Senior Citizen Council, Mohali.It is important to mention that the Punjab Government had issued last week an advisory for use of Arsenium Album 30 , for three days as an Immuno Booster during the pandemic period of Covid -19. The advisory entailed all the Government Homeopathic Dispensaries in Punjab to distribute the medicine to public. The IIHP had with in one week distributed more than 3.5 lac of bottles.On the occasion, Mr. Sidhu said that providing best of the healthcare to the Senior citizens is a priority with the State Government.Mr. JR Chaudhary the President of Senior Citizens Council recieved the packets. On the occasion, the Political Secretary to the minister -- Mr. Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan was also present.
