In a Major Sucess achieved by Government forces in Goripora Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday where Two Militants and militant Associate were killed in Gunfight.The Gunfight breaks out between Militants and Government forces in Goripora Awantipora after forces recieved inputs about militant Presence in the area.Corden and Search Operation was launched by combined forces including Army ,Crpf and J&K Police in the area, as the search party intensified towards suspected spot hiding militant fired upon forces which was retaliated by forces triggering a Gunfight.Police officials told two militants, one militant associate were killed in gunfight.However identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, he added.Jammu and Kashmir Police in an Official twitter handle tweeted read as,2 unidentified militants and 1 hardcore associate of militants killed. Search is still going on. Details shall follow.Pertinently it was second Operation in South Kashmir within less than 24 hour where four militants killed in both Gunfight's.
