A 35-years-old woman, who successfully cured of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, said that the optimistic thoughts helped her to win over the deadly disease. It was on April 03, she among three others tested positive of the COVID-19.The woman, who is a native of Chhattisgarh was discharged from the Civil Hospital Mansa after testing negative.Deputy Commissioner Gurpal Singh Chahal, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Narinder Bhargav, Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) Navdeep Kumar and Civil Surgeon Dr Narinder Bhargav along with others greeted her with flowers during her discharge from the hospital as she conquered over the deadly disease.Deputy Commissioner said that the woman had completed her 14 days isolation period and was tested negative of COVID-19 twice after undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital. He said that as per the guidelines the patient has been discharged as she tested negative of COVID-19 twice.Deputy Commissioner conveyed best wishes to the woman while advising her to self-quarantine for another two weeks.The woman has shown satisfaction over the treatment she got at the Civil Hospital and said that she had got the best treatment.On winning over the COVID-19, She said that she never felt that she was suffering from any disease. “I believe in god and I was always optimistic that God will cure me,” she said.Meanwhile, her family members welcomed her amid applauds when she reached Budhlada.On the occasion, DSP Harjinder Singh Gill, SMO Dr Ashok Kumar, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr Ranjit Rai, Dr Arshdeep Singh, Dr Vishavdeep Singh and Dr Pankaj among others were present.
