Srinagar administration reaches out students from Ladakh

The Srinagar administration Thursday reached out to students from the UT of Ladakh who are based in Srinagar pursuing their studies.It reached out to 373 students located in  various areas across the district and provided them with the different food items and groceries.The food items provided to each student included 5 kilograms of rice, 2 kilograms  of pulses and 500 grams each of sugar, salt and chilli-powder. Each student was also provided edible oil, tea and soaps.These items were provided for two weeks after which the  students will again be reached out and provided food items and groceries as required.The outreach was made under the supervision of Sub Divisional Magistrate East Srinagar  Sandeep Singh Bali.It should be noted that the Srinagar administration is reaching out to all residents including locals and non-locals in the district and providing requisite  assistance in view of the restrictions put in place in the district in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.
