Each and every BJP worker must ensure that no one in the State remains without food and shelter during the curfew due to corona virus pandemic. This was stated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while interacting with the State BJP President Dr. Rajiv Bindal and other BJP leaders of the State through video conferencing from Shimla today.The Chief Minister said that special thrust should be laid to provide all possible help to the industrial workers stranded in industrial areas and construction workers in various project sites. He said that lists of labourers in apple and other rural areas should be prepared. He said that party workers must also extend cooperation for identifying such people particularly from other States so that they could be provided food and shelter. Jai Ram Thakur said that  the party workers must coordinate with district administration for home delivery of essential commodities so that people should not come out from their homes for getting daily needs items besides ensuring proper social distancing.  He said that in rural areas they should coordinate with functionaries of Panchayati Raj Institutions to provide delivery of essential commodities to the people at least nearer to their localities.Chief Minister said that party functionaries must also coordinate with NGOs and other social organizations to distribute disaster relief kits containing wheat, rice, pulses and other essential commodities to the stranded people. He also asked them to ensure social distancing while distributing these items to the people.Chief Whip  Narinder Bragta was also present on the occasion among others.
