District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal today convened a meeting to review the progress registered under languishing projects in the district.The meeting was attended by ADC, Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO Ganderbal, SE R&B, CMO, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE and PDD, Nodal Officer Unani College, Ganderbal, EO Municipality and other concerned district officers.The DDC reviewed physical as well as financial achievements registered by executing agencies under languishing projects in the district.During the meeting, the DDC sought sector wise details from the concerned officers and detailed upon the issues hampering the timely completion of vital projects in the district.He directed the concerned officers to expedite the pace of work to complete all ongoing projects in a time bound manner and directed them to ensure regular felid visits to monitor the ongoing projects.Later, the DDC reviewed convened another meet to review the progress registered under power sector, District Plan, CSS, PMDP, DDUJY and B2V works.While reviewing the progress of works under B2V, the meeting was informed that 39 approved works are at various stages of completion in the district.The DDC asked the concerned to ensure expeditious implementation of projects under state and centrally sponsored schemes. The DDC further directed to PDD officials to revisit the timelines of projects to ensure their early completion.
