Prof. (Dr.) Ravindra Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.Prof. Sinha briefed the Lt Governor about the functioning of the University and the initiatives taken in the recent times for the overall growth of the University. He also apprised the Lt Governor about various issues of academic and administrative importance.The Lt Governor advised Prof. Sinha to maintain sustained focus on enhancing University’s teaching standards and research capacities for developing the varsity into a centre of excellence.
