Deputy Director, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Kashmir, Bilkees Jan today inaugurated week-long “Matru Vandana Saptah.”The theme of the Saptah is “Toward Building a Healthy Nation- Surakshit Janani, Viksit Dharini”.While inaugurating the function, the Deputy Director impressed upon the participants to explore possibilities for the 100 percent coverage of beneficiaries under the PMMVY scheme so that assistance can reach to targeted populaion.She further urged the general public to approach concerned Anganwadi workers to get registered under the Scheme. It was given out that a number of 11115 beneficiaries are registered as against the target of 18015 beneficiaries under PMMVY programme in Kashmir division.The function was attended by Child Development Project Officers, Supervisors, Anganwadi Workers and the registered beneficiaries under PMMVY scheme.
