MLA Pinki makes a specially challenged school dropout to resume studies by arranging motorized tricycle

A dream of 13-years old and a dropout of third class Monu Teji to resume his studies came true on Sunday, when MLA Ferozepur Parminder Singh Pinki arranged a motorized tricycle for him. MLA Pinki along with other prominent persons of the locality visited the Monu's house and presented him a motorized tricycle.Divulging more, MLA Parminder Singh Pinki said that a few days ago he had met the Monu at Grain Market Ferozepur while he was on an inspection of paddy procurement procedure. He said that he had an interaction with the Monu and asked him about his studies where Monu's father replied that he had left his studies due to disability when he was in third class. The MLA further added that according to Monu's father Monu wished that he would resume his studies if he had a motorized tricycle. His father express inability to get him a motorized tricycle as it costs around Rs. 40 thousand, said Mr. Pinki. He said that then he asked Monu would he resume his studies, if he got him the motorized tricycle and Monu Promised to go to school. Then MLA arranged an motorized tricycle for him and presented him the same and Monu is all set to join school again.The MLA said that it was our duty to serve the weaker section of the society to make them able to live their dreams. In order to tackle the problem of this community around 32 motorized tricycles have been distributed so far and 101 more will be received in Ferozepur soon.Mr. Pinki said that he will leave no stone unturned to serve this community and a large number of works have been initiated earlier too including A.C. mess in orphanage home, Development works is Leprosy home and many more.
