The gym in police lines will soon have the facility of steam and sauna bath to keep the police force healthy and fit for which Rs.5 lakh grant has been given to the IGP Ferozepur Range B. Chandrasekhar and SSP Vivek S. Soni by Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA Ferozepur.These views were expressed by MLA Pinki while handing over a cheque of Rs.5 lac to B.Chander Shekhar, IGP and Vivek S. Soni, SSP Ferozepur and said, the facility of steam and sauna bath at the Police Line Gym will be more beneficial to the police personnel to keep them fit and stress-free.  He said this facility is not so far available in any of the departmental gyms in the state.  He said, in the coming days more facilities will be available in the gym for the police personnel.Appreciating the gesture of Parminder Singh Pinki MLA, SSP Ferozepur said, this initiative will prove a mile-stone in terms of keeping police personal fit and healthy. Divulging further Mr. Soni said that a large number of steps are being taken by the police department to elevate the physical and mental health level of the force as a part of which yoga classes were also got organized. Mr. Soni hailed the efforts of the gym and steam and sauna bath facility and termed it a far-reaching decision.
