A Training programme was today organised for Officer/officials deployed for the implementation of the "Back to Village Programme Phase-II" here, even as District Development Commissioner (DDC), Angrez Singh Rana reviewed the preparedness of departments for range of activities scheduled for the purpose.During the training programme, ACD Kishtwar informed that the programme would be conducted in all 136 Panchayat Halqas of the district. He said the visiting officers would have 2 day stay and one night halt at the respective Panchayat.During the training programme, the participants were briefed about the activities that shall be undertaken during implementation of the programme at Panchayat level collectively by the officers and PRIs. Meanwhile, speaking at the meeting, the DDC stated that like B2V Phase I, Nodal Officer has been nominated to monitor the activities for the phase II.

The meeting was attended by ACD Anil Kumar Chandail, Joint Director Planning, Mohd. Iqbal, PO, IWMP,  DFO, Functional Manager DIC, Tehsildars, All BDOs,  besides district/sectoral officers and representatives of banks.The DDC further informed the participants that the booklets explaining the stepwise guidelines for the programme will be provided to the concerned visiting officers. He directed them to thoroughly read all the points mentioned in the booklet and ensure all the columns are filled  neatly.He directed the visiting officers that during their visit to allotted Panchayat, they should ensure the conduct of activities like interaction with PRIs, all sections of society, women SHG, village elders, panchayat level govt. functionaries, organise cultural programmes, aware the common masses about minimum 83 schemes of the government, finalize the gram Panchayat development plan and organize function for celebration of Constitution day and reading of fundamental duties.
