Renowned sufi singer Mr. Satinder Sartaj today paid a musical tribute to Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in a function organized by the Punjab government in the holy city to commemorate  the 550th parkash purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.The function held at Rabab Pandal today witnessed huge rush of devotees who had converged at the venue during the  commemorative function in which Mr. Sartaj regaled sea of devotees through his mesmerizing voice. Mr. Satinder Sartaj through his voice connected the pilgrims with the life and  teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. The function was part of celebrations being organised by the state government for commemorating the 550th parkash purab of Sri Guru Nanak  Dev ji in a befitting manner. People from all walks of life and from all age groups were present in the show through which they had a rare experience of learning the teachings of  Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji through music.The show was a humble effort was of state government to spread the message to people for embracing the ideology of love, compassion,  equality, peace and brotherhood propounded by Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in its true spirit. The mesmerized audience, who had converged in a huge number, gave thumbs up to the  sufi singer and lauded the efforts being made by the Punjab government to celebrate the 550thparkash purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in an unsurpassed manner. Such was the  impact of the melodious voice of the ace sufi singer that the entire atmosphere was imbued in spiritual and sufi colours besides ensuring that people had  a unique experience  through the show. On the occasion Deputy Director Local Government Mr. Barjinder Singh, Mela Officer Ms. Navneet Kaur Bal, Secretary RTA Mr. Darbara Singh and others were  also present
