Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi said that Saksham Gudiya Board Himachal Pradesh should frame guidelines for its functioning so that various activities would be undertaken to provide safe and fearless environment to girls in the State.Chief Secretary was presiding over meeting of Saksham Gudiya Board Himachal Pradesh here today. He said that Board should initially prepare three months plan for which full cooperation will be provided by the State government. Social Justice and Empowerment, Home and Finance are the stakeholder departments in this initiative taken by the government for safety of girls.In the meeting, nomination of non official members of the Board, hiring of office accommodation, creation and sanction of various posts for the office, providing police protection to Vice Chairperson while on tour and formation of guidelines were also discussed.Vice Chairperson of the Board Roopa Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Nisha Singh, Special Secretary Finance Rajesh Sharma and senior officers of Social Justice and Empowerment, Home and Finance departments were also present in the meeting.
