Medical Education and Research Department invites applications for 40 vacancies of professors

16 posts each of professors and associate professors and 8 posts of assistant professors will be filled under Punjab Medical Education (Group-A) Service Rule-2019

Punjab government has invited applications for 40 posts of professors, associate professors and assistant professors of direct quota in government medical colleges of the state.Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the state government said that 16 vacancies each of professors and associate professors and 8 posts of assistant professors will be filled under Punjab Medical Education (Group-A) Service Rule-2019 to ensure quality education to the students of medical collages. He said that an advertisement has already been issued by the medical education and research department for these posts, wherein one post each of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Nuclear Medicine department, Hospital Administration, Neonatology department, Cardiology department, Medical Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Cardiovascular, Paediatric Surgery, Thoraocic surgery and one post each of Professor and Associate Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Endocrinology, Nephrology, neurology, Urology, Neuro surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Surgical Oncology would be filled.The spokesperson further mentioned that application form will be downloaded from department's website http://www.punjabmedicaleducation.org/ and after filling the form would be sent to directorate of medical education and research along with bank draft. Applications will be accepted up till 5 pm on September 2, 2019.
