Speaker listens to civic issues of Billawar residents

Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Dr. Nirmal Singh today interacted with residents of various wards in Billawar to listen to their grievances.The residents of ward 4, 5, 12 and 13 of Municipal Committee Billawar, raised the issues concerning their Wards including including establishment of public utilities, increasing the pace of ongoing construction work and identification of land for the proposed projects at Billawar.They also demanded renovation of approach roads, separation of ration card within family, construction of shelter at cremation ground, inclusion of name in BPL list and construction of overhead tank in water stressed areas.The Speaker assured them that their genuine demands will be taken up at the appropriate level. Highlighting various flagship programmes of central Government, Dr. Singh said that ‘Ayushman Bharat’, world’s largest government-funded health programme called National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS), with Rs 5 lakh insurance cover per family per year is for secondary and tertiary healthcare.
