Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today held a booth Sammelan at Awntipora of Tral constituency in District Pulwama  in which members of all the polling booths participated.The booth sammelan was chaired by BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul  while addressing the gathering, Ashok Kaul emphasized the importance of effective working by booth activists for the growth and extension of the party.  He emphasized effort of party workers must be focused towards extending their reach to hearts of locals population on every single booth.He said that no booth should remain untouched by the BJP activists. He asked the BJP activists to acquaint themselves with all the public welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre. He also said BJP has worked on the core agenda of development and e-governance while particularly touching all the neglected areas and sections of the society.Ashok Koul further said more and more people are getting associated with BJP as they are convinced by the policies and programmes of NarendraModi-led government at the centre.

Ashok Koul said that BJP is a party based on organizational structure. It was formed on certain principles and mission to serve the people unlike other political parties which came into existence for the purpose to acquire power and wealth through any means.  He further said it is the BJP where even a booth or constituency level activist can be appointed as state president or national president whereas in other Political parties a member from particular family is promoted. Koul added ULB and Panchayati elections are directly beneficial for general public as it strengthens democratic set up at gross root level and by this institution developmental activities reach to common masses,” he said. Ashok Koul  urged the BJP party activists to work whole heartedly and  ensure the victory of the party candidates in ULB and  Panchiati elections.Present on the occasion were   State Spokesperson Altaf Thakur, District  Incharge Pulwama Ashraf Azad, District President Pulwama Master Abdul Gani, State co-incharge IT, social Media and Media Incharge Kashmir Manzoor Bhatt, Programme Coordinator Kashmir Ashok Bhat,  General Secretary organization Central Kashmir Mushtaq Noorbadi, General Secretary Organization South Kashmir saraf Veer  , Constituency President Pulwama Shabir Ahmad, State Vice President Minority Morcha Avtar Singh, Protocol Incharge Kashmir Nazir Ahmd Gilkar, Constitueny President Tral Manzoor Ahmad ,Mahilla Morcha President Pulwama Shagufta, Vistark Incharge Tral Zahoor Ahmad,  and others.
