Praneet, IAS, today took over the charge as Deputy Commissioner Bathinda. SSP Bathinda Dr Nanak Singh, ADC Mrs Sakshi Sawhney, SDM Balwinder Singh, SDM Talwandi Sabo Mr Varinder Kumar and SDM Rampura Khushdil Singh welcomed the Deputy Commissioner on his arrival in the district.Praneet was earlier posted as special secretary revenue and rehabilitation and additional commissioner (appeals) Jalandhar.Deputy Commissioner said that his immediate focus will be to solve the problem of sewerage system in the Bathinda city and nearby areas. The main areas of his concern will remain issue of drugs and Tandarust Punjab campaign. He will take up the pending projects of district, review the ongoing ones and will ensure that projects related to education, health, agriculture and basic infrastructure of the district.Earlier on his arrival the Deputy Commissioner was given Guard of Honor by a contingent of Punjab Police on his arrival.
