Govt focused on development of quality infrastructure : Sham Lal Choudhary

Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today said that the government is focused on development of infrastructure to provide to best amenities to people of all regions.The Minister was addressing a gathering after inaugurating office of AEE PHE Sub Division, RS Pura.Minister said that the government is working on creation of better infrastructure for the employees and people, adding that various projects have been taken up under different sectors. He said that newly constructed complex is equipped with all required facilities. He said that congenial atmosphere in complex would also help in improving the working condition and increasing the efficacy of the employees.The Minister said that the focus is being laid on the infrastructural development in all the sectors. He said that various micro and mega projects have been initiated and completed while work on others is underway.‘The Government is committed to provide modern amenities to the common masses’, Minister said and added that  providing safe drinking water to every village is one of the prime agendas of present dispensation .The Minister directed the concerned to take immediate steps to augment drinking water and improvise the irrigation system in every nook and corner of the area. He further asked the concerned officers to complete all the related projects in a time bound manner.
