Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Information Technology, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, CA and PD, Tribal Affairs, Relief & Rehabilitation and Labour & Employment Ajay Kumar Nanda conducted an extensive tour of Kashmiri Pandit Townships, colonies in Jammu, today.The Minister visited Jagti Township, TRT Nagrota, Boota Nagar Camp, Muthi Camp and Purkhoo and took stock of public issues.A team of senior officers of the concerned departments accompanied the Minister during the tour.While receiving on spot appraisal of the facilities being provided to people at these places, the Minister said that the Government would take all possible steps for the welfare of the community and for providing better amenities.The Minister also interacted with the Kashmiri pandits at these places who raised various issues pertaining to development of the township including maintenance of parks, roads, providing un-interrupted drinking water and power supply besides better health care facilities, The Minister asked the concerned officers to complete the ongoing developmental works  in a time bound manner and ensure that the people living there do  not face any problem.At Purkhoo, the Minister informed that the government will construct more 1000 Two Room Tenements’ (TRT) for Kashmiri Migrant families for which approval has been received and the work will be started soon.
