The Chairman Legislative Council, Haji Inayat Ali along with Speaker Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, Deputy Speaker Nazir Ahmad Gurezi and Secretary Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs today attended Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference at Patna Bihar as delegates to Indian Chapter of CPA.Among others the Chairperson CPA Emilia Lafika, Secretary General CPA Akbar Khan delegates from Uganda and Australia were attended the conference.The conference was inaugurated at Gyan Bhawan Patna by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar. After the inaugural function the conference continued at Legislative Assembly Bihar wherein Lokh Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan presided and MP Murli Manohar Joshi and Union Law Minister Ravi Shanker Prasad apprised the delegates on the topic “Role of Legislature in sustainable growth and separation of powers between Legislature and judiciary”. The Chairman Legislative Council met Chairperson CPA Emilia, Chief Minister Nitesh Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and greeted them for holding international conference of CPA Indian chapter at Bihar and thanked them for the hospitality provided to the delegates and participants from different states and foreign countries. The Chairman also apprised the Chairperson CPA, Secretary General CPA and delegates from Uganda and Australia about the political affairs of state of J&K and hospitality of the people of the state for the tourists and assured them the state is safe for tourists.
