Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, today inspected Government College for Women Parade, GCET Jammu and GDC Ploura (New campus) and reviewed functioning of the institutes.Dr. Samoon reviewed various development works being executed in these institutes and asked the concerned agencies to ensure timely completion.JKPHC informed that construction of GDC Paloura, Jammu will be completed by March 2018 and work on the hostel for girls within the college campus is going on in full swing.Deputy General Manager, JKPCC, informed that GCET Girls Hostel block is near completion and shall be ready by March 2018.Dr. Asgar was accompanied by Nodal Principal Jammu Dr. Sattinder Singh, Principal GCW Parade, Dr. Hemla Aggarwal, Principal GDC Palora, Jammu, Dr. Asha Gupta and Principal, GCET, Jammu, Dr Sameru Sharma, besides Dy. General Managers of JKPCC and representatives of JK Police Housing Corporation.
