The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president S. Suhbir Singh Badal has appointed young leader and sitting councilor of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh S. Hardeep Singh Butrela as the president of SAD unit Chandigarh.Giving this information, Senior Vice President and spokesman of the SAD, Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema said that S. Butrela is a very hard working and visionary leader who has been elected to the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh consecutively for the second term on the SAD ticket. He said that he had also served as deputy Mayor in the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in 2016. Hailing from a Taksali SAD family, he is son of Late Ex-Councilor Gurnam Singh. His elder brother Late Malkit Singh had also been a councilor in the Chandigarh Corporation.
