Former Minister and AICC Member Abdul Gani Vakil today said that formation of strong and stable government at Centre is inevitable to keep India integrated and shining in global perspective. He said that there are serious challenges ahead which can only be tackled by the Congress because history is witness that Congress led coalition governments have proved successful despite severe economic constraints and challenges on different fronts. He said that Congress is the only party which can provide strong and result oriented Government the centre by cementing ties with its secular allies which congress proved by ruling this country successfully for two terms and achieved handsome growth rate and a sizeable population was alleviated from poverty line. Mr. Vakil cautioned people that if any other party comes to power at the centre nobody can avert midterm poll as it has been observed in the past whenever any other party including BJP got a chance to rule the country, could not complete its term and uncertainty and instability prevailed in the country which resulted in total chaos and confusion and resultantly hampered implementation of developmental programmes. Mr. Vakil was addressing a Party Workers convention at R.S. Pora Jammu today. Convention was presided over by Former Minister and Executive Member PCC Choudhary Gharu Ram
While addressing the gathering Mr. Vakil said that it was BJP Government at Centre who brought humiliation and disrespect to the Country when its Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh at that time handed over two dreaded terrorist to Pakistan at Kandhar which encouraged terrorism and it was those freed militants who later on created havoc in India for which BJP is equally responsible.Former Minister cautioned people of pisive forces who are hell bent upon to disintegrate this country on the basis of race and religion and said that existence of the India is exclusively vested in Hindu, Muslim and Sikh brotherhood and need of the hour is to keep at bay the enemy forces so that our neighbor doest not find any chance to exploit the situation for their interests.Modi’s credentials bar him to rule the country because his role during Gujrat riots has shaken the country and no prudent person will ever forget unprecedented violence that put at stake the secular credentials of the country, Vakil added
