Divya Public School ,Sector-44 organized its annual function A CULTURAL FIESTA 17 in the school premises. Tejdeep Singh, PCS, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh was the chief Guest on the occasion .The program commenced with  Ganesh Vandana after lighting the lamp. It was followed by a welcome address by Sh.O.P.Goyal President, Divya Educational Society. Tiny tots of  Pre- Nursery  presented Welcome Dance while Nursery on Just Dance  and K.G. students performed on  Hockey Pockey  While primary students showed a dance on  Chanda Chamke  and Dance item on Deep Shiksha  highlighted the importance of  education. Other dance numbers were Hip-Hop, Patriotic Dance  &  Maiya Yashoda . Laadli -Ek Ehsaas  item  touched deeply  the hearts showing the bonding of father and daughter was main attraction of the show. Skit-Angg  Daan Sabse Mahaan  conveyed the social message to donate organs  and another Skit- The Merchant Of Venice , the virtue of mercy was  highlighted .Group Song  I Have A dream  was really a feast to the ear.  Electrified Indo –Western dance and energetic Bhangra enthralled the audience. The children left an indelible impression on the audience through their performing prowess. Meritorious students were given awards in different categories .The Principal of the School  Rajesh Kamal  also recognised the efforts taken by the teachers for the all round development of the students. He later ,briefed upon the journey of the school since its inception . The function concluded with the  National Anthem .
